Nyanga
Twenty-nine seconds for an iced foléré juice from Douala: an ad made to stand out in Reels, ending with a button to order on WhatsApp.

The idea
Foléré is a colour before anything else. The ad opens with a red drop that splashes right on the first beat of the music, then shows three words in French, one on each beat: “rouge, glacé, nyanga” (red, iced, nyanga). The bottle comes in, the ingredients drift past while the music breathes, and the city bursts onto the screen when the beat kicks back in. The final move is the one we want from the viewer: placing an order.
What we did
- The brand identity: the name, the logo, the hibiscus flower and the bottle label.
- Product shots and everyday scenes: a rooftop in Akwa at sunset, the maquis (open-air bar), a delivery in Bonapriso.
- Original music, with every cut timed to the beat.
- 3D ice cubes, as clear as real ice, and transitions shaped like a hibiscus flower, the brand’s emblem.
- Sound effects made for the film: the drop, the ice, the tap on the button.
- Framing designed for Reels: nothing important hidden under the app’s buttons.
